Radley Green is partnering exclusively with a fast-growth, publicly listed fintech business to appoint a Financial Controller as they continue to scale.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, high-growth environment at a genuinely exciting stage, taking ownership of financial reporting, controls and processes at a business operating at pace.
The business has grown from £9m in 2021 to £50m in 2025 and continues to grow at this pace.
Please note, candidates must come from an Audit background for this opportunity.
The Role
Lead the preparation of accurate, timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including group consolidation for UK and US business.
Own and continuously strengthen the internal control environment, ensuring processes are robust and scalable as the business grows
Manage the year-end audit process and act as a key point of contact for external auditors
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and listed-company reporting requirements
Drive improvements to finance systems and processes to support a fast-growing, complex business
Oversee UK corporation tax, VAT, ERS and other statutory filings, liaising with external tax advisors on group tax matters including transfer pricing between UK and US entities.
Support the FP&A team with budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning for the group.
Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and support key decisions
Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial processes and controls, particularly as the group scales across two markets.
Manage and develop a team of 2 direct reports
About You
ACA qualified (or equivalent)
Prior experience in a Financial Controller, Group Accountant or senior finance role, ideally within financial services, fintech or a listed company environment.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls and process design
Experience managing external audit relationships
Track record of managing and developing a team
A hands-on, proactive approach, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels
