Radley Green is working with a high-growth, dynamic business looking to hire a Finance Manager to play a key role in their expanding finance team.
 
This is a hands-on position where you'll work closely with senior leadership, taking ownership of financial reporting, controls, and planning, while helping to scale and strengthen the finance function.
 
You'll suit this role if you're commercially minded, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment. There is a clear progression pathway to Financial Controller.
 
This role will pay £70k-£80k base salary, good benefits, has hybrid working in the central London office and is being recruited immediately.
 
Our client is looking for candidates that have trained, and qualified through, practice and are ACA or ACCA Qualified with some post qualification industry experience.
 
What You'll Be Doing
 
Financial Reporting & Control
  • Own the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations (AP, AR, payroll, expenses)
  • Maintain and improve internal controls
  • Support statutory accounts preparation and audit (FRS102)
 
Cash Flow & Forecasting
  • Manage cash reporting and liquidity
  • Lead rolling cash flow forecasting
 
Budgeting & Business Partnering
  • Track performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Provide insights to senior leadership
  • Partner with teams across the business to drive financial understanding
 
Compliance & Tax
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, corporation tax, and payroll obligations
 
Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement improvements to systems and processes
  • Drive automation and scalability within finance
 
What We're Looking For
 
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • 2-4 years' post-qualified experience
  • Background in a Finance Manager role or similar (or practice-trained with industry exposure)
  • Strong experience producing management accounts end-to-end
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting
  • Familiarity with Xero (desirable)
  • Confident working with finance systems and Excel
