Radley Green is working with a fast-growth, mission-driven start-up operating at the intersection of digital media, music technology and wellbeing. Their focus is on creating audio-led products and experiences designed to support focus, productivity, relaxation and overall wellbeing.
 
As part of an established international media group, they combine deep industry expertise with a modern, data-driven approach. Their work spans subscription-based (SAAS) digital products and tailored solutions for a range of sectors, alongside a growing global audience across major digital platforms.
 
Candidates must have experience working in growth companies and working with SAAS metrics to be considered.
 
This role is being recruited immediately.
 
The Opportunity
 
We're looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Head of Finance to play a pivotal role in their next phase of growth.
 
This is a strategic, high-impact position acting as a key partner to the CEO and COO — translating vision into financial strategy and operational execution. You'll lead on financial planning, investor readiness, and performance insights as they scale into new markets and prepare for a Series A raise. The role also owns all finance systems and processes including month end, year-end, controls and processes etc.
 
There is support for this role from the Group CFO and group bookkeeping team.
 
This is a key hire for the business and will be a fast-track to Finance Director / CFO.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Strategic Finance & Fundraising
  • Lead financial modelling and scenario planning for a Series A capital raise
  • Manage the cap table and support investor due diligence processes
  • Evaluate capital structures and provide strategic financial guidance
Planning, Forecasting & Performance
  • Build and maintain integrated financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
  • Partner with department leads on budgets, forecasts, and growth planning
  • Track and analyse key SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, churn), providing actionable insights
Financial Operations & Controls
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations and accounting processes
  • Manage financial systems (e.g. NetSuite) and optimise for scale
  • Ensure robust controls across cash flow, expenses, procurement, and audit readiness
  • Handle VAT, R&D tax credits, and multi-currency consolidations
Commercial Finance
  • Support sales and growth teams with pricing strategy, deal structuring, and commissions
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition for subscription and enterprise contracts
Governance & Reporting
  • Own month-end close and deliver insightful board reporting
  • Oversee financial governance of IP, licensing, and royalty structures
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Present financial insights clearly to leadership, investors, and group stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted partner across both creative and operational teams
 About You
  • Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 5-10 years' experience, including time in a high-growth or scale-up environment
  • Proven experience supporting or leading a funding round and investor due diligence
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and SaaS metrics
  • Experience with group structures, intercompany agreements, and cross-border tax considerations
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (automation and efficiency mindset)
