The Role:
  
The business is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join its high-performing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, maintaining accuracy, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing invoices, credit notes, payments, and refunds using the company's billing system
  • Acting as the primary finance contact for multiple sites across the UK and Europe
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations and monthly AR ledger reconciliations
  • Maintaining and reconciling other GL accounts (e.g. member deposits, other debtors)
  • Supporting month-end processes and the preparation of management accounts
  • Producing weekly Aged Debt reports and collaborating with operations to manage working capital
  • Assisting the senior finance team in preparing information for statutory audits
Success in this role will be measured by:
  • Clear and proactive communication across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining an accurate and well-managed AR ledger
  • Taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Supporting team objectives and delivering work to deadlines
  • Building strong relationships with operations teams and senior stakeholders
